Summary
Bound is a 3D platformer designed for people with the desire to concentrate on the narrative side of games and experience a mature story. On the other side of the spectrum, Bound is also being prepared for hardcore gamers looking for the challenge of one big puzzle that can be only solved by a community of players working together.
Story Line
The game takes place inside the mind of a woman who is revisiting her childhood memories. In the game's world, the main character is a princess who is following the orders of her mother, the Queen, to vanquish a monster that is destroying the world.
According to the game's creative director, "everything in the game is a big metaphor", and there are scenes in the game that show real life, and not the game's world.

A wonderfully short game to experience that feels more sensory than sensical. It is an abstract experience with strange landscapes to venture through with all the fluid motions of a modern ballerina, which the mocap for this game translated well in presenting all these neat little ticks and extraneous motions that add personality to the player’s character. Despite its linear experience, the story is anything but as it unfolds through fragmented memories and metaphors that the player has to put together for what ends up being still an incomplete picture. It’s unique, made all the better for its short playtime, I think.
