Lee’s Hero Command is a walking fight with Marvel’s superheroes and superhumans in the leading roles. The game was created in cooperation with the F84 Games studio, which has created Survival Run With Bear Grylls and Candy Lamb Adventures, with the legendary cartoonist Stan Lee, the creator of Spider-Man, X-Men and Iron Man. The title was issued for mobile devices in a free model with optional micropayments.
The production takes place in a universe invented from scratch, attacked unexpectedly by aliens who do not expect the planet to be inhabited by authentic superheroes, designed from scratch by St. Lee. Interestingly, the role of the draughtsman does not stop there, as he appears in the game itself, where he leads the Hero Command organization. The position of boss obliges him to send heroes on various missions.
The game is a three-dimensional walking brawl. The player takes control of characters endowed with exceptional powers and fights against the predominant enemy forces. A group of superheroes with the Russian strongman Captain Steamhammer, the underage genius Seeer and acrobatic Twin Towns at his disposal, while on the other side of the barricade the cards are handed out by superhumans Lord Hibiculus, the leader of the cosmic race of Dark Gnomes, and the Sand Witch, an ancient mummy brought back to life by an ancient curse.
The game boils down to taking part in dynamic clashes and achieving the main and side objectives of the mission, of which there are more than 250 in total. There are typical tasks (score a certain number of points, get rid of so many enemies), as well as a bit more sophisticated ones, among which exciting clashes with bosses lead the way. Production also boasts a robust three-dimensional graphic design and quite intuitive control system, using a virtual analog knob and touch buttons displayed on the screen.
