A crossover game that is planned to have Street Fighter characters in the 3D fighting style of a normal Tekken game.
The reverse of Street Fighter x Tekken which put Tekken characters into the 2D fighting style of a Street Fighter game in 2012.
The game has been stuck in development since its 2010 announcement and the game was put on hold officially in 2016, though early character models and some gameplay systems were said to be finished at the time.
|Game Analysis||Tekken X Street Fighter (pronounced Tekken Cross Street Fighter) is an upcoming crossover fighting game being developed by Namco Bandai Games. It crosses the universes of Tekken and Street Fighter into one game creating a roster from both franchises. The game was announced at the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con International by Namco producer Katsuhiro Harada. The gameplay of Tekken X Street Fighter will continue to feature the same 3D fighting game engine of the Tekken franchise, as opposed to Street Fighter X Tekken, which features the 2D styled gameplay of Street Fighter IV.Namco's crossover fighting game is still in its early stages of development. No images or videos were released at the 2010 Comic-Con. As of April 2012, Katsuhiro Harada has stated that the game is about 10% complete.|
