One of the most famous Polish developers creating games for mobile devices is Infinite Dream team from Gliwice. The studio has worked on several renowned projects, including Shoot the Zombirds and the Can Knockdown series. Another production of Poles is a shoot ’em up Sky Force 2014 for Android, which can be compared to projects like Ikaruga and Jamestown. The title was originally released on the Symbian mobile operating system and was hailed as one of the best in its genre. The game was later released for Android and iOS, but it was removed due to engine problems. Sky Force 2014 is a refreshed version of the mobile classic, which boasts a significantly improved graphics and electronic soundtrack compared to the original.
In production we play the role of the pilot of aircraft machines, who fights with the army threatening the whole world. In order to defeat hundreds of enemy units, we will have to show some dexterity and use the possibilities offered by planes. The gameplay boils down to a game where the missiles fly through the screen. Fortunately, we do not remain indebted and also send balls, missiles or laser beams towards enemies. In addition, the fun is diversified by the ability to save civilians, which, however, requires the player to take risks.
In addition to a number of standard opponents, including not only flying units, but also ground units, from time to time you have to defeat a much more powerful and larger barefoot. For our actions we are rewarded with points and achievements. Additionally, in Sky Force 2014, the creators took care of weekly tournaments in which we compete with players from all over the world.
