Project Awakening: Arise

Project Awakening is an all-new action RPG featuring cutting edge graphics and a high fantasy setting. As part of the company’s ongoing drive to deliver the very best in entertainment, Cygames has assembled a development dream team to create the game, boasting extensive experience across a variety of much-loved videogame hits. Under the accomplished direction of Junji Tago (Director) and Ryosuke Aiba (Art Director), the team is hard at work on a title that aims to bring a fresh approach to the world of fantasy RPGs.

“Project Awakening” is the title of Cygames’ September 2018-announced action RPG for PlayStation 4. However, the subtitle “Arise” has never appeared before now.

Whether this is the final name of the game or something else—perhaps a demo—is unknown. “Something else” seems more likely, as we do not imagine the final title will retain the word “Project.” This is of course just speculation.

Even after almost three years, we know almost nothing about the action-RPG Project Awakening for the PS4 console. Even during the Tokyo Game Show 2018 , CyGames showed us a spectacular trailer in which the brave knight first fought with a nimble dragon, and then came across a crystal tree and formidable giants.

But today it became known that in Europe, developers have registered a trademark called “Project Awakening: Arise” .
