Poi: Explorer Edition

This is an adventure platformer in which players assume the roles of orphans on a quest to collect medallions to become master explorers. From a third-person perspective, players run and jump through 3D environments, collect coins, interact with characters, and occasionally harm enemies (e.g., slimes, gophers, bees) by hopping on their heads. Injured characters generally disappear amid puffs of smoke. In one protracted boss battle, players fire a canon at crystals growing from a large stone creature; the frenetic sequence is highlighted by realistic explosions and camera-shaking effects.
