* Monster creation system (“Hatchery”) : Monster creation is a complex system that allows players to create monster’s for others to fight. The gist of it is that one type of loot players will get are “eggs”. An egg can be used by a player to hatch a monster. It provides the basic attributes the monster will have (strength, dexterity, intelligence, power etc..). The player can then customize it’s creation by selecting the monster’s assets (music, illustration), name, dialog, skills, equipment and minions (what we call “adds” in mmo jargon).
* Player submitted monster illustrations : many monster illustrations from the game will be uploaded by players. In a way, playing the game will be like browsing deviant art’s incredible fantasy section.
* Crafting
* Ranked PVP (Arena)
* Various other smaller features : social chat, friend list, enchanting, sharding (additional servers can easily be added if too many players are playing)
About myself :
In February 2014 I left my software developer job at Ubisoft Montreal to pursue my dream of working on this game full time.
I got the idea for the game many years ago, in fact, I already made a version of this game for Windows Phone about 4 years ago which had moderate success (about 50000 download). I always wanted to push the idea further and try to polish it to maximum, and so I am now working on this full time now until I finish it.
