I played this game long time ago, but decided to play through again because I remembered I really liked the game. Yep, it stayed – I still do.
The atmosphere is awesome. You play different parts of military (ranger, pilot, squad, etc) and you are always part of the team. Even as sniper you go with your spotter and move from position to position, place to place to have that nice feeling shot, or not if you miss. There is even small story going on.
The graphic still holds in my opinion even 7 years later. It’s decent. Sometimes it got little bit of tower defence and waves of enemies kept coming and coming till the event didn’t finish, which was little bit off-puting, but sure. You kinda felt surrounded so it did a point.
There was still something different and what was very nice is the connection between the parts of military, like you finished something as squad-saved by helicopters-you switched to play one of the pilots to continue the missions. Something like that.
The “main” story parts were also supported greatly by very nice music. Nothing ground breaking, exactly what would you expect, but still it was good OST.
I think this game definitely deserve:
7/10 – Good game
