Lost Forest

Lost Forest is a first person horror game.
It’s a mix between Minecraft and Slender .

The goal is to collect as many cats as possible, before the Grim Reaper catches you.
The Grim Reaper behaves similar to Slenderman in Slender .
You should not stare at him for too long…

Features:

* Randomly generated, infinite world of blocks, which are eight times smaller than in Minecraft.
* Random locations like houses, mineshafts, pyramids with randomly generated mazes.
* Explore the world at night, only with a flashlight. -> Spooky atmosphere.
* Find items, which help you to survive.
* Immersive sound effects and ambient noise.
* Weather changes to rain or thunderstorm.

Controls:

* Move: W,A,S,D
* Look around: Move mouse
* Jump: Spacebar
* Sprint: Left Shift
* Pick up item: Rightclick
* Use item: Leftclick
* Switch items: 1-9
* Adjust flashlight: Scroll Wheel
* Toggle flashlight: F
* Pause/Unpause: Escape

Facts:

* Engine custom built with OpenGL.
* Originally developed on Linux.
* Created as a project at University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, in “GraPra” course, as a group of two developers.

Version 1.1:

* Fixed a crash when launching the game.
