Lips: I Love the 80s
I ♥ the 80s is the fourth main game in the Lips karaoke series and it was
released only one month after the previous game, Lips: Party Classics. As the
title implies, the focus of this version is the music of the eighties and
there are no notable changes to the gameplay mechanics.
The game is available stand-alone, and bundled with a wireless microphone.
Just like Lips: Party Classics , regular USB microphones can be used as
well, from Rock Band or Guitar Hero for instance. With those, avatar
movements, mini-games and percussions instruments are not supported, as those
peripherals are not motion sensitive. Importing custom songs in the Freestyle
mode from a USB device is also still possible. The disc swapping problem of
the previous game is still present.
