Jett Tailfin is a three-dimensional racing game for the youngest players, in which we play marine fish. The title is produced by Hoplite Research and Ilusis Interactive Graphics. Developers have a number of titles for the whole family, created for Nintendo platforms and mobile phones and tablets equipped with Android and iOS operating systems. Jett Tailfin is the first company project that will go simultaneously to the WiiU and 3DS consoles.
The rules of fun in the game do not differ from what we are accustomed to in other racing titles, except that standard go-karts or cars are replaced by nice and fast-paced fish. The players we can choose at the beginning of the game represent many real ocean fish species and differ in maximum speed or manoeuvrability. The arena of rivalry with other undersea creatures are routes marked out in fantastic locations such as Atlantis, a ship’s cemetery or a pirate island. Each of them contains several routes and shortcuts leading to the finish line, and finding them is the key to victory. Various living obstacles, such as sharks or jellyfish, also stand in the way of the competitors. If we don’t miss them, they will effectively thwart our plans, pushing us from the first to the last position. Interestingly, during the race track we can catch some of these dangerous animals and use them later against our opponents, thwarting their chances of winning. It’s worth mentioning that the title allows you to play in a multiplayer online mode designed for up to 8 people.
The creators of the graphic design were clearly modelled on the Disney animated film Where is Nemo? Thanks to that the game is extremely colorful and should appeal to the youngest, as well as a bit older amateurs of virtual entertainment.
