## Description
_HueShift_ is a reworking of the browser game Hue Shift. It uses the same
gameplay mechanic, but no longer with a minimalist graphic style. The goal is
to guide a character upwards through a vertically-oriented level while a shock
wave at the bottom of the screen moves up at a consistent speed. The goal is
to move upwards and survive as long as possible without being caught in the
wave. Levels consist of platforms built up out of parts of different colours
and enemies that need to be avoided. The character needs to be guided upwards
and is able to shift between three shapes: blue (top hat man with a monocle),
green (octopus) and orange (fire). If the character’s shape is different from
the part of the platform above, through which he attempts to jump, it can be
crossed. If the colour is the same, it becomes a solid shape and either
prevents the player from moving upwards or becomes a solid platform for the
character to land on after traversing with a different shape. That way the
player needs to think quickly and switch between shapes at a fast rate so as
not to get stuck.
