Echoes: Act 1 – Operation Stranglehold

## Description

_Echoes: Act 1 – Operation Stranglehold_ is the first game in a series of
three games planned in total. It is an action-strategy game set in an
extensive universe on a torn Earth almost three-hundred years in the future.
The game is played as a 2D side-scrolling shooter where the main character is
controlled with the cursor keys and aiming is done through the mouse. He can
use different weapons such as a futuristic knife and guns, and also has access
to abilities to heal or use a shield. The strategy element is introduced
through the control over other soldiers as a squad, giving them commands and
operating as a group. Throughout the game extensive dialogue is used to
further the story and the relationships between the characters.
