### What is DWEL?
Dark With Extra Light (abbreviated ‘DWEL’) is a 2D platforming side-scroller in which the flashlight wielding protagonist must traverse diverse environments and escape various nightmares. DWEL offers players a new and exciting take on the platforming formula by utilising dynamic lighting mechanics.
### Gameplay
The environment reacts to lighting with various types of platforms. These platforms include moving, bouncing, sliding and some which disappear when light is not shone on them. Additionally the game includes lights with varying properties and an array of different enemies to tackle, adding depth to gameplay.
### Release Platforms
The ultimate aim is for a full release on mobile platforms (iOS/Android) via their app stores as well as desktop platforms (PC/Mac/Linux) via Steam.
