## Description
_AWOL_ is a run and jump game similar to Canabalt. The player takes control
of a lone soldier who is constantly running forward in an attempt to escape
from his enemies. Before him are different obstacles that he has to jump over.
The game is a one button game and the player simply clicks to make the soldier
jump. The movement is automatic. There are three different kinds of jumps. One
click leads to an ordinary jump while holding down the button leads to a
longer jump. It’s also possible to do double jumps by clicking a second time
while in the air. There is a vehicle that the player can take control of. Not
only does it move faster, it’s also equipped with a gun that allows the player
to shoot down the obstacles. It is however only useful for a short time before
it breaks down. The aim of the game is simply to run as far as possible
without colliding with an obstacle.
