Pain sucks. Achy Penguin provides an approachable way for kids to locate, quantify, and feel empowered to do something about their pain. This app incorporates techniques such as breathing, relaxation, visualization, and distraction. Pain is complex, and Achy Penguin is meant to be another tool to help when appropriate.

Achy Penguin is currently being evaluated as part of a research study out of SickKids Hospital in Toronto, Ontario. Feedback from the study has already and will continue to inform updates to the app.
