Virtual Sailor 6 (Version 6.0 and above) is a sailing and boating simulation
which allows you to drive and sail a wide variety of boats. Using your mouse,
you can turn the steering wheels or move the sails of hundreds of different
motorboats, sailboats, submarines, seaplanes, cruise ships, steam ships, or
just about any kind of boat that either comes with the game or can be
downloaded. The game includes a single sailboat, motorboat, and submarine, but
the website includes realistically modeled versions of modern, sci-fi, and
historical boats including a Zodiac, Catamarans, a German U-Boat, a
battleship, a futuristic amphibious car, and the Titanic. The boats’ control
panels are usually fully interactive and mouse controlled.

You can play over a modem with several players, or create multiple boats and
set behaviors and waypoints for them. Combat is also possible, with realistic
sinking and capsizing.
