Twister
You are a twister. A tornado. A force of nature. A mighty funnel of swirling
wind whose mission is to terrorise a small town and vacuum up everything in
sight.
The gameplay in this isometric destruct-em-up is very simple. Where you click
your mouse, the twister goes. You get points for every object sucked up into
the sky.
However, there is a complication: The twister has a health bar, which
constantly decreases. The only way to keep the twister healthy is to consume
the right things at the right time. The gameplay goes in cycles: When you’re
told to grab people, it’s best to grab people. The same goes for animals,
trees, buildings and vehicles. As play progresses, you need to consume more to
stay healthy.
Therefore, instead of being a mindless rampage, Twister demands resource
management; deciding what to send into the vortex now, and what to keep for
later.
