The Wacky World of Miniature Golf is a Philips CD-i game played by Arin and Danny on Game Grumps. It is an animated comedic golf game voiced entirely by actor Eugene Levy.
Playthrough
Danny and Arin play the first 12 holes of the full 18-hole course, with Danny spending most of the time playing and occasionally trading off with Arin when he gets stuck. They insist on completing each hole, even after reaching the stroke limit, which they do in many holes due to the game’s unpredictable nature and extremely precise inputs.
When they reach the 13th hole, they give up on the game entirely after trying to beat the first obstacle. The game also reportedly destroyed Arin and Danny’s friendship, and led to Arin quitting games entirely by 2022 in a joke at the end of episode 5 Torture.
Trivia
- When at the character select screen in the first episode, Arin and Danny are shocked to discover the character on the furthest right astonishingly resembles the latter of them; the character has black large Jewish-afro styled hair and is noticeably tall, but also keeps his eyes closed and wears pink bellbottom pants. The character is referred to as Danny from then on, and is the only character kept when they remove the other three selected characters.
- The Grumps trade off playing at random points. Initially, Danny is the only player, growing more irritated as the restrictive gameplay impedes his progress, while Arin falls further and further into hysterics at the game’s presentation. In later episodes, when Danny gives control to Arin, he grows even more enraged than Danny, amusing him as Arin had been applauding the hilarity of the game up until then.
- Arin declares his wish to bring the game to future cinema event involving Eugene Levy, where he will beg him to sign their copy of the game.

Welcome to the Wacky World of Miniature Golf FAQ! This quirky Philips release
has been the butt of many gaming jokes, mostly related to its corny jokes, but
also pertaining to its ridiculous gameplay timing. For example, Dragon's Lair
II and Supreme Warrior, both FMV titles with extremely difficult button timing,
have *nothing* on certain holes-in-one within this "children's" title.
Voice Narrated by Eugene Levy, famous comedic actor who most recently
headlined the "American Pie" series of movies, his commentary overall is quite
funny, sarcastic and quirky. Despite being prepared by Philips's Sidewalk
Studios (known for children's game development), however, this title is
definitely NOT for kids. Pictorials of people being hung in trees, half-naked
women, dismembered dinosaurs, and adult humor for which the target audience
couldn't even possibly understand, duly represent the game's highlights.
