Now I’ll start of by saying we are developing in the unity engine. “Why the unity engine? Clearly such a game is simple enough to be developed in flash or a series of smoke signals?”
WRONG.
‘Book of Pixels’ or BOP if you wanna make me upset is using unity’s almost countless features to bring you effects not possible in programs that only handle 2-D aspects. We are proudly using the unity asset RagePixel to bring this animated world to life in the pages of BOP I mean The Book of Pixels.
Planned features include– Open world– Overarching stories– Artificial evolving culture between kingdoms/cities/people– You influence the world in unforseen ways– Animated pixly scenes
