Sunday x Magazine: Nettou! Dream Nine
Sunday Magazine: Nettou! Dream Nine (サンデー×マガジン 熱闘! ドリームナイン) is a Nintendo DS baseball game released by Konami on February 29, 2009. It is a crossover between baseball-themed manga serialized in Weekly Shōnen Sunday and Weekly Shōnen Magazine to celebrate their 50th-anniversary. Titles include H2, Touch, Strongest! Aoizaka Metropolitan High School Baseball Club”, Diamond of Ace, and Cross Game. It also contains characters from other non-baseball themed manga, such as Ghost Sweeper Mikami, Ranma ½, Detective Conan, Hayate the Combat Butler, and Hajime no Ippo.
Gameplay
Story Mode: Clear all chapters in each story from the 5 Sunday titles. Complete all chapters perfectly to unlock a hidden player.
Main Stadium: The player chooses between two tournaments to play in. Compete in either to level up the characters to the max.
Selection Tournament: Create your own dream team of 12 characters from the 5 schools of the Sunday/Magazine series. Defeat the other 4 schools until reaching the finals where it becomes a representative match between the magazines.
Champion Tournament: Create a personal team with any players and battle against CPU original teams.
Homerun Competition:
Battle: Face against CPU and online teams.
Practice: Practising the basics; pitching, batting, running and defense.
