Songe Virtuel (Dreamland) is a MMO game
I’m working on adapting a french manga named
“Dreamland” into a little MMORPG for fans (With the author’s agreement,
Reno Lemaire)
The manga talks about a young boy named
terrence who, one night, when asleep, fights his worst nightmare (he has
lost his mother in a fire).
By making this effort in his dream, he
has overcame his fear, and he has taken the control of fire, the simple
“dreamer” becomes a “traveler” and he discovers a new continent in his
dream named “Dreamland”.
In Dreamland, each fear is a kingdom with a
powerful lords and soldiers, if you die in Dreamland, you will lost
memories about it, and you will become a simple dreamer again.
The Hero will meet a lot of people from every part of the world, with a lot of different skills and different stories.
The manga is very fun and creative, I would advice you to read it, there are some scantrads translated in english on the web.

In my game project named ” **Songe Virtuel** “, the player cannot choose his skill, as if it was based on his fear, I have scripted a random fear (and skill) for every new player connected for the 1st time.
I’m planning, in the future to add a permanent death system too (but with a multiple life system like in Old School game).
The player can choose his own skills and make them improved as he wants to.

In 2014, I have released an alpha-test version, and the game ran great (with RealmCrafter), I have hosted on my PC, with my home connection and I have succeeded to host a little group of about 20 testers without any lag!
It’s was very promising for the future (With a real server I mean^^)
Now I have switched engine and gave up ReamCrafter to develop this game project with Unity
