## About This Game
## Virus strains capable of an apocalyptic pandemic.

The story is focused around the SCP Foundation’s development of new virus
strains of SCP-008 to weaponize it within Area 12. In the mishandling of the
virus – capable of a worldwide pandemic – their research site fell into a
biological containment breach. In these events, the facility’s staff became
zomboid entities. The facility autonomously entered a lockdown phase to
control the outbreak, but everyone inside remains locked in until The
Foundation’s task forces can arrive and secure the situation.
## Gameplay
SCP: Pandemic is a first-person tactical shooter putting you in the boots of
an improvised fireteam within Area 12 during the site-wide biological
containment breach. The staff within the facility are infected and want
nothing more than to spread the virus by newfound instinct. You must fight
through them and other entities that have escaped containment during the
breach.

In addition, you may run into rogue armed resistance along the way.
