Rumble In The Void: Remake

Rumble in the Void was a 2d-Arcade-Topdown-Space-MMO-Shooter. Servers were operated by MightyGames (Germany), Wireplay (UK) and GOA (France) in the late 90s. A small community of enthusiasts have made several attempts to recreate a game server compatible with the game client to be able to play this hidden gem once again…

Sadly this was never to be, but we here at Tweek Studios (who by the way used to love the heck out of RITV!) have taken it upon ourselves to revive this incredible game! Without having a working server to run the original game, we decided to re-create the game entirely (and with it, its own custom server and code)!

It is currently been worked on by a small team of RITV enthusiasts, it is extremely Alpha right now but it is live! We could really do with any help with the server coding that you could provide. We’re using Node.js and Socket.io.
