_Red Johnson’s Chronicles_ is an installment in a series of adventure games
taking place in the “noir” atmosphere of Metropolis city. A sequel to the DS
game Metropolis Crimes, each episode features a mysterious crime investigated
by the skilled detective Red Johnson. This first episode in this re-envisioned
series revolves around a prison escapee, a murder, and jewelry robbers. The
gameplay consists mostly of classic point-and-click features: finding access
to different locations, looking for clues and items, combining them, talking
to the characters, solving puzzles. In addition, there is a light fighting
system based on quick time events. At the end of the episode, the player must
answer questions and point out one of the characters as the culprit.
