Summary
POP: Methodology Experiment One is an experimental game by Rob Lach which dissects the impact of reinterpreting the typical game development process and following a self-prescribed dogma to its creative conclusion. POP takes you on a visual and emotional roller-coaster, throwing at you a series of disjointed interactive vignettes of ranging purpose, visual style, and frustration.

| Game Analysis | POP: Metholodgy Experiment One is a "game" experimenting with an atypical game development process. Rob Lach first created the music (he's not a very good musician), then the art (dreadful), and finally coded the mess together. The purpose of all this was to examine how a simple change in methodology can effect what type of game emerges and hopefully creating something very different.POP is an erratic series of vignettes with no theme.POP is a musical game with no focus on rhythm.Rob Lach thinks POP is pretty horrible and he apologizes for suggesting you should play it.
