## Description
_Polis 2_ is the sequel to the Swedish crime-solving game Polis. You play as
a leader of the murder investigation unit of the Swedish police force and the
task is to solve a murder starting of with the finding of a dismembered arm in
a lake.
The interface consists of a geographical map, a board of all the involved
characters and their relations, the archive where the player can read through
all generated reports and the so called Murder Puzzle where the player can see
how well the investigation goes. The progress is shown with three lamps, each
for four different pieces of the puzzle indicating how much evidence have been
collected in the following important areas; the place – where the body was
found, the act – how and where the murder took place, the death which indicate
how much is known about the murder weapon(-s) and finally the murderer – where
the player can select different people to test their theories.
The gameplay consists of equal parts resource management, i.e. select a team
for each day and giving the team members tasks, and equal parts interrogation
where the answers play out in video with real life actors.
At some points in the story, the player can feed the media with snippets of
information which can result in new information from the public. These parts
of the game plays out as a inverted interrogation scene where the case is
highlighted by the Swedish TV-show _Efterlyst_ (a Swedish TV programme similar
to _America’s Most Wanted_ ) and where the show’s host asks the player
questions about the case.
