Pac the Man X is a Macintosh clone of Pac-Man, and the sequel to Pac the Man
2. It features 2 player co-op mode, 4 difficulty levels, 140 game levels,
32-bit graphics (OpenGL accelerated), multichannel sound effects (OpenAL), a
MIDI soundtrack and a level editor developed by Stone Design. Pac the Man X
was translated in Dutch and French.

The gameplay of Pac the Man X is identical to Pac-Man however some bonus
fruits have become power-ups like invincibility and speed up. The game has a
unique difficulty level called “Master”. It plunges all the game levels in
total darkness. However, the player is able to see a few paces around him. The
difficulty level “Master” only works in single player mode. Online ranking was
added to Pac the Man X in April 2007, more than one year after its release.
Players from all over the world can submit their scores. They are posted on
the Web site of the developer.
