## Description
_Our World War: Interactive Episode_ is a short interactive movie based on
the BBC drama series Our World War. It tells the story of a young corporal
that is trying to keep his men alive during the attack on High Wood which was
part of the Battle of the Somme in 1916. The story is split into three acts
and during each the movie stops twice and asks the player what should be done
next. The alternatives are shown on screen and the player has to quickly pick
one before a timer runs out. Choices made affects what will happen next.
At the end of an act the player is presented with feedback on the decisions
made during the act. There are three categories of feedback each which the
player gets a score in: tactics, morale and leadership. Tactics is based on
what would have been military correct and what a real soldier of 1916 would
have done. Morale is how the choices have affected the mood of the other
soldiers. Leadership is an average of tactics and morale for each act and is
an cumulative score that builds up over the three acts. Between acts it is
also possible to watch animated comic sequences that tell the back story about
the characters.
