Humanity was never really suppose to survive.

Not so long ago we had a massive technological advancement in space travel and
planet colonization, we discovered a vast open universe far more massive than
we could ever have imagined. Our first mission was set to make Venus
habitable, the year was 2041

After the incident (VMAC Project catastrophy after planet habatation core
failed)in 2043 one survivor made it off world back to earth and crashed her
spaceship mistaken for a meteorite on a small island

In 2054 Corp decided to revisit Venus and salvage any Crystals, ore and
equipment left on the planet but was met with massive resistance and so the
war began.

Now the year is 2107, more than a decade later Corp dispatched colonies of
ships to the Eldritch Star System
