| Game Analysis | Here we want to give you an introduction to our indie MMO game-project called Negaia.MOTIVATIONThe motivation for the game project has its origins in a deep frustration over other MMO games. What was frustrating? Mainly lack of game elements, such as: housing, good trading system, open world PVP, etc.CONCEPTIONAt the beginning of March 2010 Negaia was a one-man show. During this time, a story was created and I was searching for suitable tools for the realization of the project. The project-start itselves was in October / November of 2010.Still, as a one-man show I started with the MMO engine BigWorld-Technologies. I start 3D-modeling in Autodesk Maya 2010 and the textures were created with Photoshop. Also the first program code was written in this time. | |
