Shell Heart is an educational game released as part of the Computer Gratka series. The programme is especially dedicated to the youngest audiences, as its content has been adapted to the intellectual level of pre-school and early school-age children.
The action of this production takes place again in a fairy-tale land called Teczowa Polanka, where the young viewers meet a group of friendly characters: Papatka, Tosia the mouse, Filip’s gnome and Barnabas the teddy bear. The evil Gryziw¹s captured and imprisoned Shark – of course the friends from Teczowa Polanka, and with them the players decide to release him.
The described production includes a number of games, including volleyball, armwrestling, filling mugs, selling ice cream, solving puzzles, diving in the sea and arranging books in the library. In addition, the creators prepared a series of rhymes and coloring books, a multimedia fairy tale and a song about shark and sprat.
Apart from a lot of entertainment, the title provides children with knowledge about the surrounding world, toddlers get to know various sea creatures (shark, seagull, sea horse, jellyfish, octopus, crab, starfish) and get information about lighthouses and ships. In addition, they learn how to write letters (Cz, Sz), add, count and days of the week. It is also worth adding that, like other programs in the series, this one does not contain scenes of violence.
