## Description
Bad monsters have captured the gingerbread men and taken them to the monster
tower. Grab your weapon and affix your helmet and go rescue the gingerbread
men! Never mind that your weapons are a toy hammer, shovel and rake or that
your helmets are pots from the kitchen!
_MonsterBusters_ is a match-three game. Swap two monsters to create a row of
three or more of the same. Each stage has a mission. These can include:
* Gain a certain number of points, with or without a time limit
* Get a certain number of gingerbread men to the bottom of the board
* Gather a certain number of monsters of a particular color
* Free gingerbread men from ice prisons, ropes or chains
* Et cetera
When you match four or more monsters, you create specials. These are:
* Match four monsters in a line to create a horizontal or vertical bomb that clears one whole row or column.
* Match five monsters in a T or L shape to create a cross bomb that clears all the tiles next to it then explodes again, clearing the tiles two rows out.
* Match five monsters in a straight line to create a magic hammer that clears the monsters of whatever color it is matched with, everywhere on the board.
Two specials can be matched together to create different, larger effects. As
the game progresses, you will encounter blockers like wooden boards, chained
monsters, et cetera that, most often as not, must be dealt with to clear the
stage. After so many stages, you encounter a boss. Make matches next to the
boss to damage it until it is defeated. Some doors to some stages have a crown
on them. If you complete these stages and get three stars, you can play the
stage again with more blockers in what is called a Hero’s Challenge.
