Mighty Rodent is a side-scrolling shooter where the player controls a
cigar-smoking hamster with a turret mounted on its back fighting hordes of
flying enemies.

The turret has a range of 180 degrees, and the player directs its stream of
projectiles positioning a reticule over the enemy. The rodent can move left or
right to avoid gunfire and some types of aircraft. The first button sprays
bullets, while the secondary detonates a bomb that destroys all the enemies on
the screen.

Money falls from sky and has to be collected to purchase additional weaponry.
A shop screen comes up between each level offering upgrades to the arsenal.

Random power-ups, like shield boosts and temporary weapon upgrades, also drop
from above.

The game supports 2 players: the first player uses the mouse, and the second
player uses either a gamepad or the keyboard.
