## Description
_Karu_ is a marble shooter game, where the objective is to match spheres of
the same color to make them disappear. The multi-colored spheres fall from the
sky, and the player collects them moving a mouse-controlled idol statue
sideways, swallowing the marbles with a gaping mouth and storing them in the
torso, increasing its height. If the idol’s head touches the top of the
screen, the game is over.
The stored marbles have to be used to make matches, by shooting them to the
bottom of the screen, where a string of spheres keeps moving on a twisted
track towards the top. If they manage to invade the upper field, the game is
over. The goal of each level is to fill a meter with matches before this
happens.
Some power-ups fall from the sky as well, and can be deployed by the same
manner. The lightning bolt destroys a line of marbles in its path. The
meteorite shower breaks a random number of spheres. The color extinct power
eliminates all the marbles that share its color. The halt power stops the
marble movement for a few seconds. The back arrow makes the line move
backwards. The digest power consumes all the balls stored inside the statue
stomach. The snail makes the marbles move slowly. The rainbow ball matches any
color. The fireball explodes a group of spheres. The snake slayer removes a
whole string of marbles.
An extra life is added at each 50.000 points. Each marble removed is worth 10
points, and a chain reaction multiplies its value. Coins sometimes appear, are
worth 500 points and increase the meter by 10% after being collected.
