## Description

_HamsterJam_ is a remake of the VIC-20 game Rockman, which in turn is a
variant of Boulder Dash. Gameplay and level design is identical to the
original game. What’s different is the characters. The player character is
here a hamster called Sniffles and the monsters that are out to get him are
mice. The aim of the game is to collect all the rings from each level. When
that is done a gate opens and the player can move on to the next level. As the
player digs his way through the levels be has to watch out for boulders that
might fall down over him. These can also be used as a weapon against the mice.
The game also has a time limit. When ending a game the player can submit his
score to an online leaderboard.
