The trucking trade ain’t what she used to be. With major trucking companies
folding and gainful employment options drying up, a trucker turns to freelance
work. But most gigs don’t pay well, and the routes are dangerous. Crumbling
infrastructure, delayed road maintenance, bad weather, steep cliffs, unmarked
hazards, and worst of all, volatile cargo, have made trucking a task only the
best drivers can hope to handle. But even a legendary driver will struggle to
make a living in today’s economy. In truth, there is only one way to make
enough fast cash to truly become a successful freelance trucker. For legal
reasons, we won’t mention exactly how to do that here. Let’s just say that a
good insurance policy will get any trucker a lot further than even the best
license class. What are you waiting for? Hitch up! That trailer won’t haul
itself!

Freelance Trucker: Insurance Fraud Edition puts the player behind the wheel of
a commercial semi-truck, and in control of the mortifying finances of the
trucker himself. Navigate dangerous roads in unique delivery jobs, with a
variety of cargo types depending on the job. Safe and timely deliveries will
satisfy your bosses, but their payouts will yield diminishing returns, and the
more lucrative gigs require more expensive insurance classes. If you’re
delivery ends in catastrophe, you’re entitled to an insurance claim, presuming
you’re insured. Players can use such insurance payouts to unlock increasingly
dangerous delivery jobs, higher salaries, and superior insurance plans. The
most successful freelance truckers will find themselves doing deliveries for
the highest echelons of the societal pyramid.

This game was developed in Unity 3D, with vehicle physics based on the Eddy’s
Vehicle Physics professional asset package. Environments are semi-
destructible, and most unique assets were created with Blender. This is
primarily a vehicle crash simulator with mystery genre elements. Inputs are
managed by InControl, and support XBOX and PS4 controllers, as well as
keyboard & mouse. Players are given 5 save slots for parallel trucking
careers, all of which can be overwritten if players wish to start new careers
in previously used slots. “Freelance Trucker: Insurance Fraud Edition” is a
