## Description
_Force Majeure II: The Zone_ is a point-and-click adventure game set in a
ruined city. The game is played in from a first person perspective and the
identity of the protagonist is not known.
The game starts with the protagonist going home from work as usual and
suddenly hearing sirens. Believing that some sort of disaster or attack is
taking place to the city, he or she finds refuge in an old air-raid shelter.
When leaving the shelter, the city is no longer there. Instead there is a
barren landscape with ruined buildings where various surreal or philosophical
themes are explored.
The game was released on CD-ROM in 2005 by the Swedish publisher Fabel
Kommunikation as part of a book series on storytelling. A downloadable version
aimed at the US market was published by Interacting Arts later that year along
with a demo. An expansion/patch was released in early 2006. The cover and CD
print of the boxed release had Swedish text, but the actual game was in
English.
