Ere After is the story of a world being introduced to advanced technology. A genius inventor called “The Great Contriver” is known for these introductions. He was thought to be a kind and gentle soul; however, one day, his experimentation took a dark turn, and the world became wrought with foul and mischievous golems. These constructs were created with sentience, and they’ve fabricated an ambition to recreate the world in artificial form, a form they knew too well. Prairies become parchment, tillage become twill, and groves become glass.
