## Description
_DJ Nights_ is a browser based game where the player takes control of a DJ.
The game starts out in the player’s loft from where he has three options:
practice, go shopping and sleeping. First some records needs to be bought and
via a city map the player can travel to various stores, like the trance shop
or the drum ‘n’ bass shop. Once in possession of some music the player can try
out some playlists in the music room by transferring plates from the inventory
to his road pack which consists of the records that he brings on to play at
parties.
Once the road pack has been set up the player can jump into night time and go
to a party. There are two kinds of parties: house party and night club. The
party crowd has different preferences in music and the player has to guess
which of the four styles available (trance, house, hardcore and drum ‘n’ bass)
they will like and play those. If successful the player’s groove meter rises
and respect will be earned. Once the session is over the party host will give
the player cash and respect points. Respect is needed since it will allow the
player to get into clubs which have crowds that are harder to satisfy than the
house parties.
