## Description
_DelugeRPG_ is an online _Pok emon_ fangame in which players may capture,
battle, and trade Pokemon. All canon Pokemon, including alternate forms, exist
on the site, and it is possible for Pokemon to have special “classes” such as
Shiny, Metallic, and Mirage that affect their appearance and battle abilities.
One of the main goals on the site is to collect all classes of all Pokemon,
totaling well over 5,000 sprites.
To catch Pokemon, the player must wander across a variety of maps, each with
their own set of available wild Pokemon. Once a Pokemon has been encountered,
the player may choose to battle and weaken it until it can be captured.
Pokemon can gain levels and evolve by battling wild Pokemon, AI-controlled
teams, and teams owned by other online players. It is also possible to
customize a Pokemon’s moveset by spending money earned from trainer battles.
All Pokemon can learn all moves, but it is more costly to teach a Pokemon a
move of a non-matching type, such as a fire Pokemon learning a water move.
Legendary Pokemon can only be encountered on the map after defeating specific
groups of NPC trainers.
Players may trade Pokemon with one another using a variety of on-site trading
services. Wonder Trade is a matchmaking service in which two online players
exchange Pokemon they’ve selected beforehand, without knowing what they’ll
receive until the trade is complete. Quick Trade allows players to select
which Pokemon they want, and automatically complete a trade if another player
has what they’re searching for. Players may also place Pokemon up for trade
and wait for offers to come in, then select which one they’d like to accept.
