“Daily Insanity” is a semi-open world game, taking place mainly in New Orleans during the 1970’s. You play as a timid news journalist who goes to Vietnam to cover the withdrawal of American forces. The game will start as you (the player) walking with a group of American troops out on patrol. As you are interviewing one of the soldiers, a Vietcong ambush kills off all other soldiers except for you. The player is taken to a secret underground bunker and is tortured for nearly two years until finally the U.S. government ransoms him back. Months later, you are back at your old job, reporting and doing journalism for the only conservative newspaper in New Orleans. As the weeks draw by, you suddenly have slow-enduring fits of insanity, caused by bio-chemical abuse in Vietnam.
