Summary
Boxing is an action boxing game for one or two players which is played from an overhead point of view. The game lasts for two minutes, and the player who can earn the most points in that time wins. You earn one point for a long jab, two points for a close power punch, and if you can manage knockout it’s worth one hundred points. Two difficulty levels are included which can be set individually for each player.

It's pure. Two boxers. Beating each other.
It doesn't hold up for more than three rounds.
I think it’s fair to say that Boxing is a pretty decent game considering it’s early entré in gaming history. Of course, Boxing is not a pretty game to rest your modern eye, but still it does the trick if boxing was what the gamer wanted.
It’s two players beating ones up with blocky boxing gloves in bird view. Even with an early control like this, the gamer could use the tactics of defense or offense. Boxing is pure. It’s boxing, straight up.
With that said, the concept is boring after a few rounds, lacking what boxing as video game could be with years to come.
