Art Style: BASE 10
Art Style: Base 10 is a match-three dynamic puzzle game, played by rotating
the console by ninety degrees. Numbers come onto the screen and must be
arranged thus that a series of vertically or horizontally lined numbers adds
up to 10, and will vanish by being tapped over. Numbers are able to be moved
only by overturning them, and solely in pairs. That is done by rubbing the
stylus along them in the according direction. When overturned, for instance,
fives become twos, twos fives, eights remain eights, ones become unusable,
threes remain a three if revolved vertically whilst get unusable if
horizontally. Red numbers can not be moved but if one of such is removed, all
of that specific number will disappear in once.
In Zerosum mode, a base of numbers lies on the right screen, new numbers
arrive from the left. This game mode plays on the two screens, therefore game-
over occurs when numbers have piled up to the left end of the left screen,
while a level is cleared if the game field is cleared of a determined quantity
of numbers.
In Puzzle mode, a certain amount of numbers is preset and none has to be left
over; it is possible to restart the level if getting stuck; no time limit is
given.
Infinite mode is a classic endless mode, which concludes by game over only.
The Vs mode sees two players competing with one another through local wireless
(only one copy of the game is required).
A demo play mode shows to the uninitiated gamer the rudiments of each of the
game modes.
