You play as Detective Roland Burnham, working for the police in the small town of Temperance, RI.
One night, while on your way home, you get a call over your radio. It’s from the Temperance Chief of Police. He has a case for you: A little girl’s mutilated body was found in the lobby of an abandoned asylum, and as the head detective, you are to go and help investigate for clues, only this case will be the weirdest one you’ve ever worked. You will slowly come to learn that there are certain higher forces at work in your investigation, as strange things keep happening. Will you uncover the truth behind the girl’s murder, or will you go insane trying?
