## Description

_Oikospiel_ , the “dog opera”, is an interactive opera in five acts by
Proteus composer David Kanaga. The recursive plot describes the futuristic
opera company, the Oikospielen Opera, preparing a gaming festival known as the
Geospiel in the year 2100. Its employees try to unionize the dog employees of
Koch Games without luck, and the conflict threatens the unity of the festival.
Meanwhile, in an eccentric adaptation of the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice,
Eurydice becomes the composer of the Oikospielen Opera while Pluto has
captured Orpheus.
