Features a Death Curse system which encourages the player to fight monsters to replenish their time, and an emphasis on exploration. Players can name their character as well choose a race, class, and gender. The game focuses on providing plot through rumors from locals, as well as books, notes, and dialogues with important characters. Nero, a reborn soul, escapes from the afterlife, pursued by Death. Aided by a fellow soul, they escape, only to find the world is now under the control of Death himself, who has escaped his chained existence to the afterlife. It is discovered that Death placed his curse upon them, and they must now fight forever or lose their souls. Now not only do they have to save the world from Death’s embrace, but they must find a way to save their own souls. The first build will be released as a free demo.
