Vehicles
1. Using boost of vehicles (“SHIFT”) speeds you up, which is sure to often come in handy in a tight situation, but it uses up more fuel. If you do not have to use the boost, save fuel – with an exception of the situation when you have a gas canister in the inventory.
3. Vehicles are a great way to travel over long distances, but they make lots of noise. The majority of enemies will be able to assess the direction you are coming from, over a long distance, which gives them an edge. Try not to drive your vehicle into areas with many buildings and, if necessary, park the vehicle within some distance of the building to check – this way, it will be easier for you to sneak up in there.
4. Crossing a bridge with a vehicle is a very bad idea, because this makes you completely defenseless. On bridges, there is little space to maneuver the vehicle and the enemy standing across will have it easier to kill you. If possible, try to avoid doing that.
5. If there is a bridge between you and your destination, look around for a boat. It is much easier to cross the river on a boat, which is probably being observed by the enemy anyways.
6. Vehicles need fuel – you can check fuel level right next to the speedometer, on the fuel gauge. Try to keep an eye on how much you have left. There is nothing worse than an empty tank in the middle of nowhere, where you can become a morsel to the enemies.
7. You can refuel while staying in the vehicle – The only condition is that the vehicle is still. Once you stop, you only have to right-click on the gas-tank in your inventory to refuel.
8. Vehicles can roll down elevation, if you park the perpendicularly (back or forward) to the slope, as a result you will lose them. To prevent that, park the across.
9. You can change seats in the vehicle, by pressing “CTRL” + 1-6. To return to the driver’s seat, press “CTRL + 1”.
10. If you want to catch an opponent in a vehicle, shoot to the tires. This will slow down the vehicle and will make it difficult to maneuver, which will make it easier to fire at the driver.
11. If you want to get out of a vehicle, wait for it to stop! Leaving vehicles, even if they roll slowly, deals damage – with greater speeds, you are bound to die.
12. A flipped vehicle is a good cover, or place for an ambush. You can use them to set an ambush for an enemy, who wants to drive across a bridge, by parking the car at the other end of the bridge and hiding behind it. Then, you only have to aim well and fire.
13. remember that vehicles have their durability. After they take enough damage, they explode and all players inside die.
14. While on a car, try not to bump into terrain obstacles, like other vehicles (or wrecks), walls and buildings. Each collision deals damage to the vehicle and with sufficient speed, also to your character. It would be stupid to die after bumping into a fence.
15. A vehicle can hold several players. This is useful when you play in Duo or Squad mode, with 1-3 players in your squad. Remember that enemy can also get into your car and shoot you with ease.
