Due to intense friction with the atmosphere, comets explode and fragments everywhere , the debris plunged into the ground, destroying almost the life there . It's not worst thing, comet debris contains a number of strange minerals that emit a powerful radiation that instantly turned the people living in nearby area into Zombies

The Earth Union meets and decides to dig deep into the earth to collect all debris from the comet and return it to the universe.
