Fact or Opinion

## Description

e Skills Minimod Fact or Opinion has been developed to help students practice and master the important reading comprehension skill of determining if a passage is factually accurate or the writer's opinion. It has been carefully aligned with the new Core Curriculum State Standards. The reading levels have been carefully controlled using the Spache and Dale-Chall Readability Formulas. Students can play in either practice mode or game mode. The game mode is a bingo-like game. Some passages have students read a short passage then answer if the passage is fact or opinion. Other questions have students select the passage that is a fact. Each program offers 3 levels with carefully controlled vocabulary. Red Level - Reading Level 2.0 to 2.9
Blue Level - Reading Level 3.0 to 3.9
Green Level - Reading Level 4.0 to 4.9
